Founded in October 2018, KC Children’s Surgery Center proudly serves pediatric and special needs patients throughout the Kansas City, Kansas area. As an ambulatory surgery center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care, we provide safe, comfortable care in a welcoming environment.
Our experienced team of dental professionals offers pediatric, special needs, and oral surgery procedures in a state-of-the-art setting. Treatment is completed in a single visit while patients sleep peacefully throughout their procedure, providing families with a convenient and stress-free experience.
We work closely with local dentists and specialists to provide access to high-quality care for children and special needs patients requiring general anesthesia dentistry. Patients and families trust our team for our compassionate care, experienced providers, advanced safety standards, and commitment to making treatment accessible. We proudly accept Medicaid, most PPO insurance plans, and private pay options.

Had an amazing experience here. My 3 year old had to have extensive dental work done. They were able to get us scheduled quickly. Our experience the day of the surgery was outstanding. The nurse was SO kind and caring, and went above and beyond to make my child feel as comfortable as possible. Got my wisdom teeth out here! Got put to sleep because I have HORRIBLE ANXIETY. My appointment was rescheduled without asking me for an emergency which wasn’t anyone’s fault. Because of the emergency we were waiting in the waiting room for a couple of hours but when it was finally my time I was taken care of in the best way possible and it all went so fast and I’m healing great. :)
