Dr. Ryan Jelicich, DDS

Dr. Ryan Jelicich was born and raised near Sacramento, California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. As an active member of the University Honors Program, he had the opportunity to complete a year of research as a visiting scholar at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. Following his time in Boston, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. While at Columbia, Dr. Jelicich decided to pursue a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry and was fortunate to match at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., for his residency training. There, he gained extensive experience treating infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special needs in both outpatient and surgical settings. During his time in dental school, Dr. Jelicich made the selfless decision to donate a kidney to his father. This transformative experience as a living donor deepened his empathy and sparked a passion for pediatric dentistry, where he could positively impact children’s early experiences with oral health care.

In his free time, Dr. Jelicich enjoys spending time with his wife, Mara, and their two golden retrievers, Millie and Sunny. He also loves distance running, competing in triathlons, and cooking.

Dr. Jelicich prioritizes high-quality, ethical care in alignment with AAPD guidelines. He welcomes collaboration with referring providers and is always happy to answer any questions. He believes that a referral to West Palm Beach Children’s Surgery Center should never feel anonymous and appreciates the trust placed in him to care for your patients.
