Dr. Richard Vax, MD

Dr. Richard Vax is a highly experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist with over 30 years of dedicated service in the field. He earned his medical degree from Emory University, where he also completed his residency in Pediatrics. He then went on to complete a residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Vax is board certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Throughout his career, he has held several distinguished leadership roles, including Director of Pediatric Anesthesia Services at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Director of Anesthesia Services at Shriners Hospital for Children, and Chief of Pediatric Anesthesia at Palms West Hospital. Dr. Vax brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to patient safety and pediatric care to every case he manages.
