Damion Hew, DDS

Dr. Damion Hew is a highly skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon committed to delivering exceptional surgical care to patients with a wide range of oral health needs. Born in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Hew spent his early years in Montego Bay, Jamaica, before immigrating to Miami, Florida, where he has since built an impressive academic and professional career in the field of oral surgery.

Dr. Hew earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Business Administration from the University of Miami, and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at Louisiana State University, followed by a residency and a Head and Neck Surgery Fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. His advanced training has equipped him with extensive expertise in ablative surgery, dentoalveolar procedures, dental implants, bone grafting, and complex head and neck trauma and reconstruction.

Dr. Hew has presented at numerous national conferences, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) annual meetings, and has contributed to research on microvascular reconstruction and surgical techniques. He was honored with the Professor’s Cup for best overall resident and served as Chief Resident during his surgical residency.

As a member of the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the AAOMS, Dr. Hew remains active in continuing education and surgical innovation. He is currently affiliated with Dental Care Alliance and provides care at surgical centers across Florida.
