This place is amazing! Everyone I encountered during my son's appointment was very nice and welcoming. The process was smooth and very efficient; from a patients point of view, this place runs like a well oiled machine. Dr. Gyles and Dr. Almengual had great bedside manner and ensured all of my questions were answered prior to and after the procedure. Nurse Aysha Evans was absolutely outstanding! Her calm demeanor and bubbly personality desolved any reservations I had about my son's procedure being done. She is definitely an asset to this establishment and it shows that she genuinely cares about all of her patients.

My son Marckus had his procedure on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, under general anesthesia, and I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire clinic team. From the very beginning, the care we received was exceptional. The front desk staff was very kind, and Nurse Morgan treated us with warmth and professionalism at all times. Dr. Hamilton made sure my son was carefully monitored throughout the entire procedure. I would especially like to recognize Dr. Lisandra Rivera, who was truly an angel from the initial evaluation appointment. On the day of the procedure, she took the time to listen to all our questions and concerns, making us feel understood and at ease. Her experience and dedication gave us complete confidence that our son was in the best possible hands. We are deeply grateful to the entire team. Their compassion and professionalism made a meaningful difference for our family.

My child is 15 and has had anxiety for years and every dentist we seen would not see her and we went to more than 5. If she moved a finger, referred out. So due to genetics, trying to fight with insurances, shifting she has a lot of dental needs and obviously doesn’t help your self esteem or anxiety. So tbh finding a provider took us a lot of time but this place has shown us respect, care, and compassion. Dr Rivera and her Team (to name just a few, Dr Linda, Lauren, Miranda and everyone from the front office to the surgery center staff) has been supportive and helpful! We’ve never been shamed, negated, and told she couldn’t do it. She has been so helpful, kind and supportive of my child and never rushed us at all. I have been a parent resource support for the special needs community for a long time and Dr. Rivera has been at the very top of my list and should be yours too!

We are deeply grateful to the entire surgical team for the exceptional care they provided to our daughter, Valerie. A very special thank-you to Dr. Prado and the anesthesia team for giving us such invaluable peace of mind and reassurance as parents. We are especially grateful to Valerie’s wonderful OR nurse, Tabitha. She was incredibly loving, gentle, and compassionate. The genuine affection she showed Valerie touched our hearts and made a tremendous difference during such an emotional experience. We understand how demanding surgical care can be—especially when caring for children with unique and special needs—and this team handled everything with remarkable professionalism, patience, respect, and efficiency. We are profoundly grateful and completely satisfied with Valerie’s care. We recommend this exceptional team wholeheartedly and would choose them again with our eyes closed and in a heartbeat.

this office is amazing! i definitely recommend anyone who needs treatment to come to Tampa Children’s Surgery Center! my son needed IV Sedation due to having a fractured tooth. as a dental assistant myself, i know how easy a cavity can grow and didn’t want my son to wait until the office i work at can do the treatment under. (our IV date isn’t till the last week of September) my coworker Clauida is also a part time Dental Assistant at the surgery center and was able to communicate with the team to get me in! the office is very efficient and got me in the next day to do all treatment needed! the same treatment plan we had in our office for my son is the same treatment plan they presented me! check in front desk was very friendly and organized! the RN at the pre op was amazing she made sure my son felt comfortable, she offered a balloon and movie! Dr. Tabares did my son’s examination! she is very sweet and kind! she answered all my questions and was very informative! she is definitely someone i would let in my son’s care! Dr. Rivera was the Dr. who did the treatment under, Dr. Rivera is also very sweet and kind, everyone here is very caring! Dr. Rivera did amazing, i’m glad she went above and beyond to help secure all cavities were treated! overall my experience here was amazing! i hope not to have an emergency again but if i do i know this is definitely the surgery center i would love to be take care at!
