Acquired in January 2022, Raleigh Children’s Surgery Center proudly serves pediatric and special needs patients throughout the Raleigh area. As an ambulatory surgery center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care, we provide safe, comfortable care in a welcoming environment.
Our experienced team of dental professionals offers pediatric, special needs, and oral surgery procedures in a state-of-the-art setting. Treatment is completed in a single visit while patients sleep peacefully throughout their procedure, providing families with a convenient and stress-free experience.
We work closely with local dentists and specialists to provide access to high-quality care for children and special needs patients requiring general anesthesia dentistry. Patients and families trust our team for our compassionate care, experienced providers, advanced safety standards, and commitment to making treatment accessible. We proudly accept Medicaid, most PPO insurance plans, and private pay options.

Update: Everything went well with my son’s surgery… everyone was Phenomenal!!! Excellent care … and the anesthesiologist was wonderful …. And the dentist kept his promise he didn’t extract not one tooth… he saved all his teeth…. I’m so pleased and happy they listened to my concerns….
Dr. Johnston was so very thoughtful and helpful. She answered all our questions and made sure to send important information to another specialist for additional evaluation. Both of our sons had their wisdom teeth removed at this dental center last year and the entire staff was professional from the from reception area to the medical staff!! They called and followed up with us after each procedure to make sure they were recovering well...they respond quick when I called with questions afterwards I would definitely recommend anyone with kids, teens and young adults to take them to the Raleigh Children's surgery center for any type oral care, procedure or issue!!
