Founded in October 2022, Jacksonville Children’s Surgery Center proudly serves pediatric and special needs patients throughout the Jacksonville area. As an ambulatory surgery center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry and comprehensive dental care, we provide safe, comfortable care in a welcoming environment.
Our experienced team of dental professionals offers pediatric and special needs procedures in a state-of-the-art setting. Treatment is completed in a single visit while patients sleep peacefully throughout their procedure, providing families with a convenient and stress-free experience.
We work closely with local dentists and specialists to provide access to high-quality care for children and special needs patients requiring general anesthesia dentistry. If I could give this place a thousand stars, I absolutely would. We visited on Wednesday because my son had an appointment in preparation for a surgery he will have soon.
The receptionist was very kind. Even though I don’t speak English, she did everything she could to communicate with me and make me feel comfortable. The facility was also very clean.
The nurse who took care of us was Mical . She was truly a nurse sent by God. She speaks both Spanish and English, and she was incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate. She made us feel at ease and explained everything to me perfectly.
After that, Dr. Logan saw us. She was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming, always with a warm smile.
We will be back on Wednesday for my son’s surgery, and I will leave another review afterward to share how everything went. So far, I highly recommend this place. They made us feel comfortable, and I truly believe your children will feel safe and well cared for here.
Amazing staff and doctors. I have been trying to find a place that took Medicaid to get my son’s dental work done and I’m so glad I was referred here. The thought of him going under anesthesia was stressing me out but the doctors and nurses here did an amazing job of informing me and walking me though every step. They were all so nice and answered every question I had. My son was in and out in about an hour and 30 mins and did great. I’m so grateful for the nurses and staff here and would definitely recommend.
I cannot express how thankful my family is for this facility. They treated my daughter and l with so much respect and care. My overall experience was fantastic. I was able to make an appointment very easy. She was seen relatively quick and scheduled for surgery right away.

My son has anxiety and nervousness when it comes to dentists that’s why he was referred here. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my son and myself were comfortable and even excited prior to the procedure. They were patient with us and took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. The procedure was done in about an hour and we were reunited with our son about 30 minutes after it was done. I am so thankful we came here to have his dental issues resolved and I just want to say thank you to everyone who was involved in my son’s care.
We had to write a review for Jacksonville Children’s Surgery Center.. It was exceptional from start to finish. The scheduling process was smooth, and communication before, during, and after surgery was outstanding.
Every member of the team made my husband, my daughter, and me feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. From the receptionist to Nurse Amanda Wooten, Anesthesiologist Karina Fuentes, and Dentist Connor Witty, everyone took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. They explained each step of the procedure, ensuring we knew exactly what to expect and helped ease any concerns we had… Hands down to nurse Amanda who took care of my baby every step of the way… Amazing! The staff’s professionalism, compassion, and teamwork were truly remarkable. They created such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that it felt more like being cared for by family than being in a medical facility. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and each other.
This team did an amazing job, and their positive environment was so impressive that it even made me want to join the team!
