Founded in January 2024, Gateway Children’s Surgery Center proudly serves pediatric and special needs patients throughout the St. Louis area. As an ambulatory surgery center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care, we provide safe, comfortable care in a welcoming environment.
Our experienced team of dental professionals offers pediatric, special needs, and oral surgery procedures in a state-of-the-art setting. Treatment is completed in a single visit while patients sleep peacefully throughout their procedure, providing families with a convenient and stress-free experience.

My 5 year old foster son was referred for restorative treatment and after searching throughout the metro east to find a pediatric dentist that accepted IL Medicaid, I was able to get him in to Gateway Children’s Surgery Center. They were able to schedule the consultation within days of me calling and everyone staffed there were amazing. I was not looking forward to any of it because of my son never really having experience with dental work and not really knowing how extensive it would be but the staff was amazing. His surgery was yesterday and after 4 extractions, 2 root canals and 6 fillings, he is up and going today like nothing happened. I had a wonderful experience at Gateway Children’s Surgery Center. The entire staff was very professional and polite from the moment we walked in. The dentist truly went above and beyond her scope of practice to make sure my son was comfortable and well taken care of.
What really impressed me was that they were able to get him scheduled for his procedure the very next day. That meant so much to us. They took excellent care of him, and the nurse was absolutely great as well — kind, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process.
I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for compassionate and high-quality dental care for their child.
