Founded in April 2025, Ft. Lauderdale Children’s Surgery Center proudly serves pediatric and special needs patients throughout the Fort Lauderdale area. As an ambulatory surgery center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry and comprehensive dental care, we provide safe, comfortable care in a welcoming environment.
Our experienced team of dental professionals offers pediatric and special needs procedures in a state-of-the-art setting. Treatment is completed in a single visit while patients sleep peacefully throughout their procedure, providing families with a convenient and stress-free experience.
We work closely with local dentists and specialists to provide access to high-quality care for children and special needs patients requiring general anesthesia dentistry. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a workplace where every person I’ve encountered was so wonderful. Dahlia in the front office couldn’t be more personable, friendly, and helpful. RN Jennifer was so full of personality and joy and made us feel as though we had known her forever. My son was so nervous prior to his surgery date but handled everything surprisingly well. I think it was mostly due to how comfortable everyone made him feel. Even when Dr. Brewer, the anesthesiologist, came in to explain how it would go, she was so cognizant to use kid friendly terminology. Dr. Zeiders made us feel confident in his skills and in the simplicity of the surgery. We are so grateful to have found this place for our son’s ear tube and adenoid surgery. Some people don’t belong in the healthcare field or working with children, but everyone there certainly have a calling for it.
I had an excellent experience at the clinic with my daughter. From the moment we arrived, the reception was warm and efficient. The nurses were incredibly attentive and caring, and the doctor showed amazing professionalism and empathy. The clinic’s environment is comfortable and well-organized, which made all the difference in the care we received. I highly recommend it!
10/10 Experience as a New Mom! Isabella was his nurse SUPER sweet, calm, gentle, welcoming. The ENTIRE staff were just so amazing, I felt so safe as a parent with having my child’s life in their hands even though it was just dental work being done under anesthesia. You can tell each of them love what they do and love providing a comfortable atmosphere for the children. As early as his appointment was 6 AM, they all came in chirpy and happy which was very relaxing and joyful to see. Clear communication throughout the entire process. Dr. Carvallo, Ramona, Davidson, and our nurse Isabella THANK YOU for making this such a wonderful experience for me and my son.
We had a wonderful experience at Fort Lauderdale Children's Surgery Center. My son had dental work done under general anesthesia yesterday, and as a parent, I was incredibly nervous. From the very first phone call, the staff helped put my mind at ease by clearly explaining the procedure, giving detailed instructions, and answering my questions.
On the day of the procedure, everything went exactly as they had explained. The entire team was kind, professional, and compassionate. The nurse was especially amazing with my son. She made him feel comfortable and safe, which in turn helped calm my own nerves. I'm so grateful for the exceptional care they provided. They made what could have been a very stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring. Thank you to everyone at Fort Lauderdale Children's Surgery Center for taking such great care of my son. I would highly recommend them to any family.
Nurse Juliana was absolutely the sweetest! She made my baby feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire visit. Dr. Oliva and Dr. Brewer were both amazing—they handled my baby with so much love, care, and patience. Dahlia at the front desk was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.
