DFW Children’s Surgery Center

This was our first time ever coming here, and as a parent, I was extremely nervous. My 3-year-old son had a procedure under general anesthesia, and I was overthinking every possible outcome before the surgery. From the moment we arrived, every nurse, doctor, and staff member made us feel so welcomed and cared for. They took the time to explain everything step by step, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Their kindness and reassurance truly helped calm my fears. My son did great during surgery. As they had explained, he woke up a little cranky and emotional, which is completely normal after anesthesia. Now that we’re home, he’s recovering well. He’s still a little sleepy at times, but he’s already getting back to being my happy, active little boy. I am so grateful for the amazing care we received. Thank you to everyone who took such great care of my son and helped make such a scary day much easier for our family. I truly appreciate everything you did and would highly recommend this hospital to any parent.

We have been to this facility a few times, I think they do a really amazing job with their patients. Both doctor and other staff that interacted with us was very kind, courteous and mindful of my child being autistic. They made sure that he was comfortable with everything they were doing. Will come back for another surgery in a week. And I'm confident that that will go good as well. They seem to strive to make sure their patients seem comfortable and safe. Waiting room was very clean and minimal. Scheduling appointment and dealing with insurance stuff with the representatives at the desk was good also.

We had several surgeries done for our toddler at DFW with Dr. Kareem Shallwani, and we are extremely grateful for the excellent care we received. Dr. Shallwani was compassionate, attentive, and treated our child with genuine kindness and concern. He made us feel supported and cared for throughout the entire process. The entire staff was professional, caring, and helpful. The anesthesiologist also did an outstanding job explaining every step clearly and making us feel reassured that our baby was in good hands. Thank you to the whole team for providing such exceptional care during a stressful time. We highly recommend them to any family seeking quality medical care for their child.

First time visit the place was great the staff was great polite, if I had any concern and then listen., they break everything down what's going to happen at his next appointment.
