Who is an Otolaryngologist, or ENT Specialist?
ENT specialists, also known as otolaryngologists, are medical doctors who diagnose and treat conditions related to the ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. What Kind of Training Do ENT Specialists Have?

- 4 years leading to an MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree
- A 5 year (or longer) residency in otolaryngology including general surgery experience and an intensive focus on medical and surgical management of ear, nose, throat, and head and neck conditions
